Not only has Gina Carano’s return to the cage been put on hold, it’s now transpired that her starring role in the Steven Soderbergh directed ‘Haywire’ movie has also been delayed yet again.

The spy-thriller, which co-stars Ewan McGregor, Antonio Banderas and Michael Douglas amongst others is now being released by ‘Relativity Media’ who have decided to shift it’s big screen debut from August to January, 2012 according to TwitchFilm.

This continues a worrying trend, with the movie originally having been scheduled for release last year, and since having had multiple other dates including February, then April, August and now 2012, while it also emerged back in March that re-shoots were taking place.

That’s not a good sign, and neither is a January release date which is traditionally a quiet month in the movie industry. Despite the all-star cast there’s a growing feeling among movie buffs that this film may not be all it’s cracked up to be.
