
Light-heavyweight fighter Glover Teixeira has finally signed with the UFC and will fight Kyle Kingsbury At UFC 146 in May.
The 32 year-old Brazilian has been a target for the UFC for quite some time now, but visa issues have prevented him from coming in the past, but persistence has paid off and they’ve finally got their man.
A talented jiu-jitsu fighter, Teixeira has also proven to be a good striker and his 17-2 record includes 11 wins by knockout.
He holds wins over notable fighters such as Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, Matt Horwich, Marvin Eastman and most recently Ricco Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, in other UFC 146 news former Strikeforce heavyweight GP alternate Shane Del Rosario will make his debut at the event against Gabriel Gonzaga who returned to the UFC with a win back in January.
