With Saturday night’s ‘UFC On Versus 6’ event not falling under the promotion’s current deal with ESPN UK many British fans have been wondering how they will be able to watch the show this weekend, and now we have the answer.

The event, which is headlined by a bantamweight title fight pitting Dominick Cruz against Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson, will be broadcast free-to-air for those in the UK and Northern Ireland on the ‘Premier Sports’ channel (Channel 433) starting at 2am. Republic Of Ireland fans will also have access to the fights via Setanta Sports 1 (Channel 408 for subscribers / 424 for everyone else).

So good news for UK fight fans, but it’s not a perfect arrangement as Premier Sports is currently not available on the Virgin Media platform (home to ESPN UK), so a lot of the UFC’s normal UK fan base appear not to have access to the event unless other alternative arrangements are made.

If and when we hear any further information then we’ll be sure to let you all know.
