A flyweight semi-final rematch between Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson will now go down at UFC On FX 3 on June 8th.

Originally the bout had been rumored to be taking place a week earlier as part of the TUF: Live Season 1 finale, but that’s no longer the case.

The original scrap between the two was awarded ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors at UFC On FX 2 earlier this month, but unfortunately it ended controversially when a score tallying error on the judges cards meant that Johnson was awarded a majority decision victory when it should in fact have been a majority draw.

Meanwhile, another bout penciled in for UFC On FX 3 pits weltereweight’s Mike Pierce and Carlos Eduardo Rocha against each other.

Both Pierce and Rocha have respectable UFC records but are coming off losses to two of the division’s leading fighters, Josh Koscheck and Jake ellenberger respectively.

The UFC appear to have a hectic programming schedule set for June as ‘UFC On FX 4’ will also take place on the same month, June 22nd to be precise, with Gray Maynard Vs Clay Guida headlining that show.
