In the main event Carla Esparza became the promotion’s first ever strawweight champion after outwrestling Bec Hyatt over five rounds to claim a clean sweep on the judges scorecards.

The co-main event saw Alexis Davis choke out Shayna Baszler in the third round, and the back-and-forth scrap was later awarded ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors which earned the two ladies an extra $1500.

Rose Namajunas also earned an extra $1000 for the ‘Submission Of The Night’, a rear-naked choke against Emily Kagan in the prelims, while Veronica Rothenhausler defeated Katalina Malungahu with a punch that earned her $1000 for ‘Knockout of The Night’.

Afterwards Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp revealed that the next event will feature the debut of former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman along with two titles fights in the atomweight and flyweight divisions.
