Invicta FC held their sixth event last night on pay-per-view and we’ve got all the results for you below.
In the main event Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos became Invicta’s first ever featherweight champion with another dominant performance over Marloes Coenen who she’d previously beaten in the Strikeforce cage a couple of years ago.
Coenen showed her toughness to hang in there for the best part of four rounds, but the truth is she was never able to trouble ‘Cyborg’ who dominated her for large portions of the fight.
The end came late in the fourth as ‘Cyborg’ dropped Coenen for the second time in the fight and then followed up with ground and pound for the finish.
So, ‘Cyborg’ extends her unbeaten run to 13 fights and it remains hard to see who can pose her a real threat at this stage outside of current UFC 145lb champion Ronda Rousey.
