It’s emerged that Invicta FC’s first event which featured an all-female fight card pulled in 250,000 viewers around the world on Saturday night thanks a free live stream on their website.

The show peaked with 100,000 viewers during the ‘Fight Of The Night’, a barnburner between Kaitlin Young Vs Leslie Smith which you can check out in it’s entirety in a video posted below.

What’s most impressive about the show’s success is that Invicta’s female CEO Shannon Knapp, who used to work for the UFC, revealed today in an interview with TapOutRadio that the entire show was put together by only three people.

“The staff that I had leading into this, and this is no joke, was myself, Janet Martin and Mike Afromowitz,” Knapp said. “We put this show together. Mike handled PR, I handled all the operational stuff, and Janet did the matchups. That was my staff. I’m very pleased with how it turned out.”

A second event is now in the works for July 28th with the main event already confirmed as being olympic wrestling silver medalist Sara McMann (5-0) Vs experienced campaigner Shayna Baszler (14-6).
