The UFC 129 fight card is complete once again after Brian Foster was forced to withdraw from his fight with Sean Pierson after being diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage.

Jake Ellenberger will now step in at short notice to fight Pierson instead.  Ellenberger last fought at UFC 126 in early February, winning a split decision in a close fight with Carlos Eduardo Rocha.

That victory took his winning streak in the UFC to three fights, and he’s now carved a niche for himself as one of the tougher fighters in the welterweight division.

That means Pierson has a tough task on his hands, but with a successful UFC debut under his belt, the advantage of having had a full training camp, and the backing of the 55,000 strong Canadian support in Toronto, he’ll be hoping that he can still emerge with a win on April 30th.
