After a long wait former Strikeforce star Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller was announced as a team coach for the upcoming fourteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter opposite Michael Bisping recently.

The signing was met with widespread approval from MMA fans who believe ‘Mayhem’, who besides being a fighter also hosts the ‘Bully Beatdown’ show on MTV, can breathe new life into the show with his often eccentric and amusing on-screen persona.

In a new interview for UFC.com Mayhem talks about his role in the forthcoming show, but rather than play up to the camera as he often does this is a chance to see a more serious side to the 30 year-old veteran who’s fought for the UFC, Strikeforce, WEC and DREAM over the course of his 24-7 (1nc) MMA career.

It seems that as much as he likes to fool around, he is also relishing the opportunity to train the TUF recruits and help to improve their skills.
