Johny Hendricks KO’s Martin Kampmann In Just 46 Seconds At UFC 154

Johny Hendricks demonstrated once again the monstrous power in his left hand tonight at UFC 154 as he KO’d Martin Kampmann in just 46 seconds.

Hendricks charged forward looking for a quick finish in this fight, but Kampmann scurried back and peppered him with a couple of jabs.

Kampmann fired off his first kick of the night, but undeterred by his initial salvo Hendricks was keen to try his luck with another aggressive attack and leapt forward with more offense.

A looping right hand came first, but behind it then came his trademark left hand straight down the pipe and it pole-axed Hendricks, sending him straight back to the mat.

Hendricks charged forward and dropped down on him with another hard punch to the face that left no doubt that this was a clean knockout with only 46 seconds on the clock.

This was stunning stuff from Hendricks, essentially recreating the huge KO he had over Jon Fitch a year ago, and in the process helping to push himself to the front of the queue as a potential No.1 contender to face the winner of tonight’s main event between GSP and Condit.
