Middleweight fighter Jorge Santiago’s brief second spell in the UFC is reported to have come to an end after just two fights.
Santiago returned to the UFC on a high after compiling an 11-1 record since his previous stint in the Octagon.
The Brazilian had hoped to do better than the 1-2 record he produced in 2006, but once again he was unable to replicate his form.
He first suffered a TKO loss to Brian Stann in May, though did pick up ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors. Then earlier this month came a second loss, this time losing by decision to Demian Maia.
The 31 year-old leaves the UFC with his career record now standing at 23-10.
