Jose Aldo Vs Urijah Faber Confirmed For Pay Per View At WEC 48

WEC General Manager Reed Harris has confirmed that perhaps the biggest fight in the WEC in 2010 between featherweight champion Jose Aldo, and the former holder of the belt Urijah Faber will take place on pay per view.

Harris revealed the news on the Dave And Mahoney Show, and though he admitted they were still discussing a price for the WEC 48 PPV, he did state that his own preference was for it to be the same rate as for UFC events – $44.95.

That might not sit too well with some fans who were hoping that the WEC would be aiming for a lower price point for their debut on PPV, but Harris argues that for true fans of the sport, Aldo Vs Faber is a fight that is not to be missed.

During the interview Harris also discussed his close friend Chuck Liddell, and played down Tito Ortiz’s recent comments that the fighter had been battling alcoholism.

“It’s not true at all.  He’s full of sh*t,” Harris said in reference to Ortiz.  “Let me tell you what Chuck told me – he’s going to break his head open (for saying that).”
