Josh Haynes, a former finalist on The Ultimate Fighter Season 3 has reappeared on our TV screens in 2012, but not as a fighter.

The 34 year-old was spotted on an episode of the long-running FOX show Cops which gave an insight into his new job as a police officer in Las Vegas.

Haynes was beaten in the final of TUF 3 by Michael Bisping who has since gone on to become a big star in the UFC, recently fighting in a number one contender bout in the middleweight division at ‘UFC on FOX 2’.

by contrast Haynes own MMA career faltered after the TUF show’s conclusion. He lost a further two fights under the UFC’s umbrella before being released and attempting to work his way back up via the smaller promotions.

He produced a 5-3 record in the following years, but hasn’t fought since August of 2010 after losing to Eliot Marshall.
