TUF 13 coach and current UFC heavyweight No.1 contender Junior Dos Santos attended this past weekend’s UFC 126 event, and afterwards he spoke to MMA Heat’s Karyn Bryant about a range of topics.

Here’s a few of the keynotes from their conversation.

– Dos Santos calls Anderson Silva’s front kick KO of Vitor Belfort, “amazing” and says it confirms that he is the No.1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

– Dos Santos says Anderson Silva might not be able to appear as a guest coach on TUF as he had originally hoped, but he’s not short of alternatives. ‘Shogun’ Rua made a guest appearance on Friday, while Jose Aldo and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira are also expected to help out with his team over the course of the season.

– As for his relationship with opposing coach Brock Lesnar, Dos Santos says that the former champion is a, “very serious guy,” and doesn’t talk much, but when dealing with him he’s been, “pretty nice.”
