The last sixteen of K-1’s 2010 heavyweight grand-prix takes place early tomorrow morning and with both Andrei Arlovski and Ruslan Karaev out injured the promotion has been forced to ship in two late replacements.

And so New Zealander Ray Sefo steps in with the unenviable task of facing Tyrone Spong, while Mighty Mo takes Arlovski’s place against Raul Catinas.

So, recognized names, both of whom have tried their luck in MMA, but in reality Sefo and Mo have seen better days and are unlikely to make any kind of significant impact in the tournament.

Meanwhile Strikeforce’s Alistair Overeem remains in the tournament and will be looking to make it to the finals for the second year in a row, though Ben Edwards will be a tough opponent for him.

Keep it locked to for all the results from the last sixteen in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
