Keith Jardine Set To Fight For Strikeforce At 185lbs In December

Former UFC star Keith Jardine has announced that he’ll be returning to the Strikeforce cage in December.

Jardine debuted for the promotion in April against Gegard Mousasi, and despite taking the fight on short notice he managed to come away with a draw – his most notable result since leaving the UFC.

At one stage there was talk of a rematch, but that’s now unlikely to happen any time soon as Jardine has employed Mike Dolce of ‘The Dolce Diet’ fame to help him cut down to 185lbs for his next bout.

So far there’s no word on his opponent. Strikeforce’s December show is expected to be headlined by a lightweight title fight between Gilbert Melendez and Jorge Masvidal while Gina Carano is also rumored to be on-board.
