Earlier in the week we brought you the news that Kenny Florian had parted ways with his long-term trainer Mark Dellagrotte.  Since then both parties have spoken for the first time about what comes next for them.

First off Florian has spoken to mma.fanhouse reporter Ariel Helwani about the split and other matters including his upcoming fight with Clay Guida at UFC 107.

Meanwhile any questions over whether Mark Dellagrotte’s Sityodtong gym would now be weakened with their most recognised fighter now gone have been quickly squashed as the trainer has told Sherdog.com’s Jake Rossen that two high profile new recruits – Frank Mir and former WEC Bantemweight champion Miguel Torres will now train with them.  With long-term injury victim Patrick Cote also now on the mend and preparing to step into the octagon again it would seem that Sityodtong is set to remain as one of the sports best camps.
