On Saturday night Poland’s KSW 14 event plays host to one of the biggest freak show match-ups of the year as former World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski takes on former UFC fighter Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch.

The day before the fight the two fighter’s took to the scales where a slimmer Pudzianowski came in at 260lbs, while Butterbean registered a whopping 450lbs.

I’ve said it before but I’ll stress it again – as far as I’m concerned this fight is a work.

Esch is a promoter for the Moosin organization in the U.S and it makes no sense for him to beat up Pudzianowski here since his promotion are keen to use the Polish fighter again due to the interest there is in his fights, particularly in his homeland where he is watched by millions.

What Pudzianowski needs right now is a solid win under his belt after getting humiliated against Tim Slyvia earlier in the year. That’s where Butterbean comes in. I fully expect him to tap out to Pudz fairly early in this fight and then get on the mike and declare that he’s a much better fighter than he thought.

Mission accomplished Esch can then head back to the U.S to prep a Moosin pay-per-view card featuring Pudzianowski later in the year.

I hope I’m wrong! Check back tonight to find out for sure.

Anyway, watch the two fighters weigh-in below, plus check out Esch waddling around at at his open workout and his pre-fight interview.
