So far up and coming light-heavyweight fighter Ryan Bader has yet to taste defeat in his MMA career, but Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has plans to change that when they meet in the co-main event of UFC 119 later this month.

“I guarantee that I’m going to give (Ryan Bader) his first loss of his career,” Lil Nog says confidently in his pre-fight interview for

Not only that, but the Brazilian hopes to do so in spectacular fashion.

“It would be very gratifying for me to show my fans a great show and knock out Bader the same way I knocked out Luis Cane.”

Nogueira has twice as many fights as Bader under his belt, including wars with some of the sports biggest names like Alistair Overeem, Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and Dan Henderson, and he feels that will be to his advantage on the night.

“Bader is a new guy, he wants to establish himself in the rankings. I’m an older guy. With more experience and my experience will work in my favor, and help me beat Bader in this fight.”

The 34 year-old also feels that he has the skill-set to counter-act his opponents.

“He definitely has a lot more experience in wrestling that I do. But I think what I’m missing in my wrestling game he is missing in his jiu-jitsu game on the ground. So I think if he takes the fight to the ground he is going to get caught. So it’s probably wiser for him to keep the fight standing up.”
