Marc-Andre Barriault Submits Jordan Wright In First Round

Marc-Andre Barriault made short work of Jordan Wright tonight in Las Vegas with a guillotine choke submission ending the action mid-way through the first round.

Round One:

Barriault pressuring immediately, but Wright moves on the outside and lands a few leg kicks. Another kick lands to the outside of the thigh.

Right hand gets through from Barriault. Now they clinch up and look to exchange strikes. Barriault landing a heavy salvo to the body and then upstairs.

Wright changes things up by driving into the cage while seeking a takedown. He goes for it and it doesn’t pay off at first, but at the second attempt he does bring Barriault to the mat.

Wright with a few punches but then Barriault drives back up to his feet. Wright stays clinched up though and tries for a single-leg.
