An intriguing light heavyweight match-up between Matt Hamill Vs Jon Jones has now been officially confirmed by the UFC for the culmination of the current series of The Ultimate Fighter on December 5th.

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones (9-0) is one of the most exciting and talked about up-and-coming prospects in the UFC of late with three wins in the octagon under his belt, the last being a submission victory over Jake O’ Brien at the historic UFC 100 event. Known for his unorthadox strikes and throws, he has quickly become a fan favorite and a win over Hamill could help him take the next step up the ladder.

Matt Hamill (6-2) is coming off an impressive head kick k.O at the expense of Mark Munoz at UFC 96 back in March. After being forced to pull out of a bout with Brandon Vera at UFC 102 due to a knee injury, Hamill will be looking to hand Jones the first loss of his career whilst improving on his own two fight win streak.
