UFC 137 on October 29th will feature a heavyweight showdown between hard-hitting stars Matt Mitrione and Cheick Kongo.

Kongo’s remarkable come-from-behind KO against Pat Barry at UFC 132 which earned him ‘Knockout Of The Night’ honors got people buzzing about him once again, and now he gets to step in to the Octagon with another striker who’ll be happy to trade leather with him.

Former NFL player Mitrione might have vengeance on his mind given that Barry is a close friend of his, but more-so he’ll be looking to improve upon his perfect 5-0 record (all wins coming by either KO or TKO), and demonstrate that he can hang with one of the division’s best strikers.

UFC 137 will be headlined by GSP Vs Nick Diaz, while another heavyweight encounter between Roy Nelson and Mirko Cro Cop has also been made official for the Las Vegas event in recent days.
