Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller’s campaign to get a fight with Nick Diaz in Strikeforce may have failed, but the Bully Beatdown star does now have a new opponent to prepare for.

At September 25th’s DREAM 16 event Mayhem will fight Japanese legend Kazushi Sakuraba.  Mayhem last fought in Japan last year against the recently crowned Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza.  That fight ended in controversy when Miller soccer-kicked Jacare in the face while he was on the ground, resulting in him being disqualified.

Since then Mayhem has recorded a loss against Jake Shields followed up by a win over Tim Stout in April.

Meanwhile, now 41, Sakuraba lost his only fight so far in 2010 against Ralek Gracie at DREAM 14 back in May.

DREAM 16 is also expected to feature the final of the light-heavyweight mini-tournament as Gegard Mousasi takes on Tatsuya Mizuno, while Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren returns to take on Michihiro Omigawa.
