UK middleweight fighter Michael Bisping is currently in training in the UK for his upcoming bout with Dan Miller at UFC 114 on the 29th of May.

Originally scheduled as the third bout on the main card, the fight has now been moved up to co-main event status after the Griffin – Nogueira bout fell through due to injury.

After a close decision loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 110 in February, Bisping is aiming to return to winning ways and bring back a much needed win to the British Isles after a string of recent disappointments for UK fighters like Dan Hardy, Paul Daley and Terry Etim.

Assessing his upcoming opponent during one of his new video blogs the 31 year old says, “I respect Dan Miller a lot. I’ve watched some of his fights. He’s a very talented grappler and a great MMA fighter. I look forward to the challenge but I’m very, very confident going in.”

Bisping reveals that he’s “leaving no stone unturned,” in preparation for the fight, including adding a new strength and conditioning program to his training regime. His main base still remains the Wolfslair though where his friend and team-mate Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is also training for his main event fight at the same event.

One thing that’s eluded Bisping in his UFC career to date has been a clean KO victory ( though he does hold six TKO victories), and it’s something that he’s clearly focused on adding to his resume.

“I’m definitely going for the knockout you know? I think I’m long overdue a knockout of the night bonus so that’s what I’m going for this time.”

That won’t be an easy task against a tough competitor like Miller though who holds a record of 15-4 and has never been stopped inside the distance.
