Last night in Croatia Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic fought in what was billed as his “final fight”, a kickboxing contest with Ray Sefo, and the good news for fans of the former PRIDE and UFC star was that he emerged victorious.

It was a close fight, but Cro Cop outworked Sefo over three rounds to seal a unanimous decision victory and end his career on a more satisfying note.

The Croatian had previously retired from MMA competition after being released from the UFC following a three fight losing streak at the hands of Frank Mir, Brendan Schaub and Roy Nelson.

If last night was indeed his final appearance in the cage or ring (and with Cro Cop you can never be 100% certain!) then he leaves with an overall MMA record of 27-10-2 (1nc) and an official Kickboxing record of 17-7-1.

Check out his final fight in full below.
