ESPN’s ‘MMA Live’ show is finally set to be broadcast on ESPN 2 according to a new report from Yahoo’s Kevin Iole.

To date the show which is hosted by Jon Anik and regularly features UFC fighters like Kenny Florian, Rashad Evans and Stephan Bonnar as co-hosts, has to date only been available to watch online in the U.S (though it does air on ESPN UK), but that is about to change.

It is believed the show will hit the airwaves on either a Wednesday or Thursday afternoon in the near future.  Along with being shown on ESPN it is also expected to air on TSN in Canada.

If so this is good news for the sport as it shows that mainstream channels like ESPN are beginning to take MMA more seriously.

Obviously it’s positive news for the UFC as the brand leader in the sport, but it’s also sure to be welcomed by the smaller promotions like Strikeforce, the WEC and Bellator who are also covered on the program and would benefit from the increased exposure.

Of course don’t forget that wherever you are in the world you can watch MMA Live each week right here on
