Canadian fans will be interested to hear what the country’s UFC Head Of Operations Tom Wright had to say in his latest interview ahead of UFC 140 on Saturday night in Toronto as it includes a few hints as to where the promotion might end be headed to in 2012.

Check out some keynotes from the interview below and scroll down to watch the full interview.

– Wright expects that in future the UFC will probably only visit Canadian destinations once a year rather than twice as has been the case for the past couple of years with Montreal getting two last year and Toronto twice in 2011.

– He shrugs off talk that there’s less buzz around this event than the last time they came here, pointing out that by the end of the year both Toronto events will be in the top three most attended events for the promotion in 2011. He expects over 19,500 fans to be in the building on Saturday night.

– While he won’t officially confirm it Wright does believe that there will be an event in Montreal in 2012 and says he expects there to be three events in Canada in total during the course of the year. He does however sound dubious about the possibility of Vancouver being one of them, though nothings confirmed yet.

– ‘Fight Night’ shows will be coming to Canada, but Wright can’t confirm whether they might happen next year or not.
