Nick Catone Vs James Head Pulled From UFC 159 Fight Card At The Last Minute

A fight between Nick Catone and James Head scheduled for the prelims of tonight’s UFC 159 event has been removed from the card at the last minute.

Catone came in 2lbs overweight for their welterweight match-up at yesterday’s weigh-ins, but at the time it appeared the fight would still go ahead with 20% of his purse being handed over to Head as punishment.

However, things went from bad to worse for Catone as what was clearly a tough weight cut lead to him having to be hospitalized for dehydration.

As a result the fight has now been scratched from the card, which leaves six undercard fights prior to the main card on pay-per-view later this evening.
