ONE FC 6: Rise Of The Kings has just finished in Singapore and we’ve got all the results for you below.
In the main event submission expert Shinya Aoki wasted no time in applying a triangle choke against Arnaud Lepont, forcing the tap after just 85 seconds.
Meanwhile, Kotetsu Boku became ONE FC’s first ever lightweight champion, while Soo Chul Kim claimed the bantamweight strap.
Other notable results included Melvin Manhoef claiming a KO win over Ryo Kwamura, while Jens Pulver made it through to the next round of the bantamweight grand-prix by defeating Yanfei Zhao.
The fight didn’t go exactly according to plan for Pulver however. Though he was in control for much of the fight he then suffered an illegal groin strike in the third round and after being given 5 minutes to recover was still unable to continue. Luckily for the veteran fighter the judges were left to make a technical ruling on who had won the bout up until that point and it lead to him earning a unanimous victory.
