After Evangelista ‘Cyborg’ Santos withdrew from the event due to an injury, Paul Daley will now face Tyron Woodley at July 30th’s Strikeforce: Fedor Vs Henderson event.

Woodley is currently the up and coming force in the Strikeforce welterweight division having worked his way gradually up the ranks from the Strikeforce Challengers series to the point where he now has an 8-0 record.

Based on his current form he makes sense as Daley’s next opponent, though it means that the stylistic match-up will alter significantly from the originally planned fight, with this now being much more of a striker vs grappler affair.

That could be a concern for Daley who’s had problems with wrestler’s in the past, most notably Josh Koscheck.
