Last night’s final episode of UFC Primetime: Lesnar Vs Velasquez pulled in an average of 1.2 million viewers on Spike TV last night.
That makes this series the only one in the history of the Primetime series to show week-on-week growth. The 1.2 milion average for episode 3 also equals the debut episode of Primetime: Rampage Vs Evans earlier this year as the highest rating seen for the show since it’s inception in January of 2009.
- UFC Primetime: Lesnar Vs Velasquez Episode 1 – 974,000 viewers
- UFC Primetime: Lesnar Vs Velasquez Episode 2 -1,100,000 viewers
- UFC Primetime: Lesnar Vs Velasquez Episode 3 – 1,200,000 viewers
The numbers bode well for Saturday night’s UFC 121 event on pay-per-view. Lesnar’s last two appearances on PPV cards have broken over the 1 million buy barrier, and Zuffa execs will no doubt be hoping for more of the same on this occasion.
