The ProElite organization have announced that they’ve secured a multi-fight television deal with HDNet.
That means that the promotion’ second event, ‘ProElite 2 – Big Guns’ will air live on the station on November 5th.
“After watching their first event in Hawaii, I could see ProElite was a great fit for HDNet,” said HDNet Fights CEO Andrew Simon. “This upcoming card has the perfect mix of marquee names and an innovative Heavyweight tournament that fight fans won’t want to miss!”
ProElite were similarly excited to have struck a deal with the network who already broadcast a number of other fight promotions such as MFC and DREAM.
“Our multi-fight agreement with HDNet elevates the ProElite brand to a national MMA audience with a preeminent broadcast partner,” ProElite Chairman Paul Feller stated. “This strategic partnership offers new opportunities for corporate sponsors and advertisers looking to reach this passionate and rapidly growing audience of ProElite fans.”
The announcement gives ProElite a boost less than 24 hours after the event took a hit when headliner Pedro Rizzo pulled out of his fight with Tim Sylvia due to injury and was replaced by the relatively unknown German, Andreas Kraniotakes.
The card will also feature Andrei Arlovski Vs Travis Fulton plus an eight man heavyweight tournament filled with up and coming young talent including promising wrestler Mark Ellis.
