Randy Couture has made no secret of his desire to pursue a career in the movie business after the success of ‘The Expendables’ and he’s just landed his next big role.

The UFC hall-of-famer will star alongside Bruce Willis and 50 Cent in a new movie titled ‘Setup’.

The film sounds like a fairly generic thriller based around a heist gone wrong and Randy says he’s got a, “small part,” but he’ll be playing a, “fun character.”

Filming is due to start shooting in December, and with the 47 year-old also scheduled to start filming ‘The Expendables II’ in March, 2011, that indicates that, as many suspected, we’ll not see Couture returning to the octagon any time soon, if at all.

Couture has dropped some big hints recently that his decorated career in the sport may now be drawing to a close, though he’s so far steered clear of making any official announcement on his retirement.

Meanwhile, the in-demand UFC legend will host the 2010 MMA Awards next month.
