It’s no secret that there’s no love lost between former light-heavyweight champions Rashad Evans and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, who argued their way through TUF season 10, and even after Evans claimed a decision win over Jackson last year the feud has rumbled on.

So much so in fact that in a new interview with MMA30, Evans reveals that just days earlier he got into a physical confrontation with his rival at a Las Vegas nightclub.

“I’d fight Rampage right now. You know what, I almost fought him the other day. I seen him at Access right, and I go up to him and give him his props for his win, you know, he beat Machida, I beat Machida.”

…Evans memory might be a little foggy on that since he actually got KO’d by Machida, but we’ll not let that get in the way of a good story…

“I said, you kind of used a bit of my strategy in that fight. “What you talkin’ bout?” I said, well I mean, you were taking him down a lot, and you said I wrestled you a lot, so you said I was kind of weak for doing that, but then you go and do the same thing. “I don’t know what you talking ’bout.” I said, ‘whatever.’

“So we got into each other’s face for a little bit, and then this fool had the nerve to hit me. He slapped me. He’s like, ‘Man, get out of here.’ Then I slapped him back and then the bouncers came and that was that.”
