Resurrection Fighting Alliance Purchases Titan Fighting Championships

The Resurrection Fighting Alliance organization have served notice of their desire to become a significant player in the MMA market by acquiring Titan Fighting Championships along with their current television deal.

RFA will now take on as yet unnamed fighters from the TFC roster as well as taking over their TV deal with AXS TV (formerly HDNet).

TFC were a respectable promotion on the regional circuit, producing 24 events in total with the likes of Anthony Johnson, Tim Sylvia, Jens Pulver and Bobby Lashley having headlined their shows over a six year stint.

In more recent times RFA has come on to the scene and showed their ambition by appointing Ed Soares, manager of the likes of Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida and the Blackhouse gym, to be their president.

Their upcoming event in November is headlined by Gilbert Yvel and also features a number of other UFC veterans such as Tyson Griffin, Efrain Escudero, Fredson Paixão and Dakota Cochrane along with Anthony Pettis’s brother Sergio Pettis who’s considered one-to-watch for the future.
