A new interview emerged yesterday of Roger Huerta reacting to his loss to Pat Curran in the semi-finals of Bellator’s lightweight tournament.

The former UFC fighter admitted that his slow start in the bout cost him dearly, resulting in him being defeated by unanimous decision.

As for the future, Huerta says he’s still under contract with Bellator, but he will be allowed to go out and fight for other promotions while the current tournament continues.

He suggests that a fight for K-1 or DREAM could be next on the cards for him, but nothing has been decided as yet and he’ll speak to Bellator first before moving forward.
