Ronda Rousey Didn’t Break Miesha Tate’s Arm After All

Judging by the seemingly impossible angle that Ronda Rousey cranked Miesha Tate’s arm at during her fight ending armbar submission at Saturday night’s Strikeforce event everyone who witnessed it was convinced that she had broken her arm.

However, according to Tate herself it turns out that the damage wasn’t quite as bad as had first been feared.

“I had X-Rays last night,” Tate revealed to MMAFighting.com. “No bones are broken, which I already knew. Other than that, I have to get an MRI to find out anything further.”

This is good news and hopefully means that Tate won’t be out for too long, but there’s still a very good chance that she’s suffered significant ligament damage so it’s too early to say for sure at this stage.
