Sean Sharaf delivered one of the biggest upsets in recent memory by KO’ing blue-chip heavyweight prospect Gable Steveson in just 12 seconds tonight at UFC 331.
Round One
Calf kick from Steveson to start. Sharaf unleashes a huge left hook and it brutally knocks Steveson out, with a hammerfist also landing on the mat to seal the deal!! That’s a nasty finish highlight-reel finish and it comes just 12 seconds into the fight!
This is an enormous upset, with former Olympic gold medalist Steveson being considered by many to be the future of the division, while Sharaf seemed lucky to still be in the UFC after being TKO’d in his first two Octagon appearances!
Steveson comes too quickly, but walks out the Octagon before the official result is announced.
