Several Established Female Fighters Try Out For TUF 18

The Ultimate Fighter 18 will be the first edition of the long-running show to have female fighters competing in it and that’s resulted in a wave of familiar faces turning up for the try-outs.

Amongst them are veterans like Shayna Baszler (15-8), Tara LaRosa (21-3), Tonya Evinger (11-6),Roxanne Modaferri (15-10) and Kim Couture (3-6) who’ve all fought for major promotions like Invicta FC, Strikeforce and EliteXC in the past.

Despite being established names on the female MMA circuit they’ll have to go through the same try-outs as everyone else in the hopes of being picked for the upcoming season which will air on FOX Sports 1 on Wednesday’s from September.

On the show they’ll be coached by current UFC stars Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano and will live in the TUF house alongside a group of male fighters.
