I’ve been convinced for some time, after witnessing numerous opponents gum shields go flying while they crumple straight to the mat like a collapsed building, that Shane Carwin hits harder than anyone else in the sport.
It’s that infamous punching power that’s the focus of the latest Bud Light produced video blog profiling the heavyweight contender in the build-up to his next fight with another heavy-hitter, Junior Dos Santos at UFC 131 on Saturday night.
The funny thing is that Carwin admits in the blog that as a kid he often dreamt that he had no punching power. In reality nothing could be further from the truth.
