In a new interview with MMA-30’s Dave Farra, the UFC’s No.1 heavyweight contender Shane Carwin appears convinced that the proven power in his hands will be the key to defeating current champion Brock Lesnar.

“I don’t think any man can take one of my punches if it hits rights,” he states in a matter-of-fact tone, and with eight of his twelves fights to date ending in the first round via punches it’s hard to argue with him.

It’s a theory he’ll be looking to once again put to the test against Lesnar when the two meet on July 3rd in Las Vegas, and there’s no surprise in his prediction for how the fight will end.

“A knockout, I don’t know which round, but a knockout. I hope it’s a bit of a war.”
