The Strikeforce heavyweight GP quarter-final bouts aren’t the only reasons to watch this weekend’s event on Showtime as the whole card is stacked from top to bottom.
Amongst the main cards bouts is a lightweight title eliminator between KJ Noons and Jorge Masvidal which will decide who takes on current champion Gilbert Melendez next.
In a new mini-feature Showtime casts the spotlight on Noons, a former Elite-XC lightweight champion who recently stepped up to welterweight to challenge Nick Diaz for the welterweight title, but came up empty-handed after a five round battle.
Now he’s back in his preferred weight-class and in the video below he talks about his early life, how he found fighting, and his desire to get back on the saddle after his recet loss.
