Spike TV’s deal with the UFC may be coming to a conclusion, but before the turn of the year they’ll still have a significant amount of programming from the promotion including live preliminary action from their next major event at UFC 135 on September 24th.

Today they announced the two fights that will feature on their broadcast prior to the main card on pay-per-view.

First up will be a middleweight match-up featuring TUF season 11 contestant Nick Ring and Tim Boetsch who’ll be looking to solidify his place in the 185lb mix after recently dropping down from 205lbs.

Also on tap will be TUF season 13 winner Tony Ferguson in his first fight since winning the show. He’ll drop to lightweight for the occasion where he’ll meet MMA veteran Aaron Riley.

Afterwards the event heads to PPV where Jon Jones will defend his light-heavyweight title against Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson in the main event of the evening.
