On Saturday night the UFC looked to counter the live Strikeforce event on CBS by airing major fights from their recent shows in a two hour broadcast on Spike TV.

The show, which featured four recent PPV fights including Randy Couture Vs Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Anderson Silva Vs Forrest Griffin and Vitor Belfort Vs Rich Franklin, pulled in 1.2 million viewers on it’s first showing, and on the later repeat added another 939,000 for a total of 2.14 million viewers.

While short of the average 4.042 million people who tuned into the Strikeforce: Fedor Vs Rogers event, it was still a solid number given the hype surround the CBS card.
