Stefan Struve Taps Lavar Johnson In 65 Seconds At UFC 146

Stefan Struve made short work of Lavar Johnson this evening at UFC 146, tapping him by armbar in just 65 seconds.

Right from the off Johnson came charging forward with a flurry of strikes, with an uppercut making good contact.

He then clinched Struve up against the cage, but Struve opted to pull guard and got Johnson down to the mat.

This was exactly where Johnson didn’t want to be and it wasn’t long before we saw why as Struve locked up an armbar from his back and forced the tap with just 1.05mins on the clock.

Johnson was clearly in pain after tapping, perhaps the sign that the Dutchman had broken his arm.

Struve’s now unbeaten in three fights while also putting an end to Johnson’s two fight winning streak since joining the UFC from Strikeforce.
