The official salaries for Strikeforce: Fedor Vs Werdum have been announced, and show that the promotion’s biggest star, Fedor Emelianenko walked away with $400,000 despite losing to Fabricio Werdum who earned $100,000.

Fedor’s salary is certainly comparable to the UFC’s top stars, though unlike them the Russian does not receive a cut of pay-per-view revenue on top.

Cung Le was another top earner on the night, also earning $100,000 for his nights work. Former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson was next with $60,000 while Scott Smith was just behind with $55,000.
