The fighter salaries resulting from Saturday night’s Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix final have now been released and show that the tournament’s runner-up Josh Barnett was the biggest earner on the card.
Barnett pocketed $200,000 for his unsuccessful bid to win the belt, while his opponent Daniel Cormier also earned a six-figure sum, $100,000 to be exact.
However, the second biggest earner on the night was lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez who took home $175,000.
