UK fans will no doubt be delighted to hear that the upcoming Strikeforce: Miami card will make it on to British TV screens via Bravo next weekend.

The latest Strikeforce event takes place next Saturday (30th January), and Bravo will air it a day later on Sunday at 10pm.

Bravo TV have a long history of covering MMA, having been the first station to air the UFC in the UK several years ago. In more recent times they have covered Affliction, BAMMA (British Association Of Mixed Martial Arts) and now Strikeforce.

The Strikeforce: Fedor Vs Rogers event from November last year aired on the same tape delay basis, and though Strikeforce: Evolution in December was absent from their schedule, they have once again showed their commitment to the sport by bringing the latest Strikeforce event to the UK.

Strikeforce: Miami will feature two title fights on the night, with Nick Diaz taking on Marius Zaromskis for the vacant welterweight title, while woman’s champion Christiane ‘Cyborg’ Santos defends her belt against Marloes Coenen.

The card also contains guaranteed fireworks in the shape of Robbie Lawler Vs Melvin Manhoef, while former WWE pro-wrestler Bobby Lashley and NFL legend Herschel Walker will be looking to make an impression in their Strikeforce debuts.

Main card (Televised On Bravo):

  • Nick Diaz vs. Marius Zaromskis (Vacant Welterweight Title)
  • Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos vs. Marloes Coenen (Womans Featherweight Title)
  • Robbie Lawler vs. Melvin Manhoef
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Wes Sims
  • Greg Nagy vs. Herschel Walker
