As the Strikeforce: Overeem Vs Werdum fight card on June 18th continued to grow over the past few weeks fight fans have been keeping their fingers crossed that there would be some way to watch those bouts that don’t make the main Showtime broadcast, and it seems our prayers have been answered.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker today announced that they have struck a deal with HDNet to air the preliminary section of the card live on the 18th.

That’s just as well as it turns out of the bouts that I, and I’m sure many others, were eager to see between two of Strikeforce’s top lightweight contenders KJ Noons and Jorge Masvidal has been set in place as the main bout on the preliminary card.

Alongside it will be other notable bouts including exciting female prospect Amanda Nunes Vs Julie Kedzie and Gesais Cavalcante Vs Justin Wilcox, while Conor Heun will also feature.

Overall this is a strong line-up, better than many of Strikeforce’s ‘Challengers’ fight cards, and will be the perfect lead-in to the main card which features the second set of quarter-finals in the Strikeforce Heavyweight GP.

See the full line-up below.
