Strikeforce: Rockhold Vs Kennedy – TV Ratings

Saturday night’s Strikeforce: Rockhold Vs Kennedy event drew an average of 420,000 viewers on Showtime.

That’s up 76,000 viewers over Luke Rockhold’s last headlining title defense against Keith Jardine back in January, and just a little short of the other two Strikeforce events this year, with Rousey Vs Tate pulling in 472,000 viewers in March, while May’s Heavyweight Tournament Final did 463,000.

All in all it’s a good showing for a card that was overshadowed by UFC 148 the previous Saturday and UFC On Fuel TV 4 just a few days later.

Next up for the promotion is the Rousey Vs Kaufman event on August 18th, and with Ronda Rousey’s star rising by the minute both Showtime and Strikeforce will no doubt be hoping that can have a positive impact on the ratings front.
